Why Dual Channel Changes Everything
Single-channel oscilloscopes make you choose what to look at. Dual-channel lets you see the relationship between two signals simultaneously — phase shift, timing skew, filter response, cause and effect. The TOOLTOP ET120MC2 adds that capability to one of the most popular handheld oscilloscope platforms on the market, while keeping the body compact enough to carry anywhere.
Same Proven Platform, Major New Capabilities
If you know the ET120M or ET120MPRO, you already know what to expect from the hardware quality. The MC2 inherits the same silicone-armored 124×80×35mm chassis, the same 2.4″ TFT display, the same one-click AUTO waveform capture — and adds Channel 2 BNC input and a signal generator. The upgrade path couldn’t be more logical.
Dual-Channel Trade-Off — Honest Note
In single-channel mode, the ET120MC2 delivers the full 120MHz bandwidth. When both channels are active, bandwidth drops to 40MHz — still very capable for the vast majority of field and hobbyist applications including audio, power supplies, sensors, and low-speed digital signals. If you’re routinely working above 40MHz on both channels simultaneously, the DSO3D12 (60MHz dual-channel) may be a better fit.
Signal Generator Built In
No need for a separate bench generator. The built-in source outputs sine and triangle waves to 100kHz and square waves to 3MHz with fully adjustable duty cycle (10%–90%) and 0–3Vpp amplitude. Use it to drive a circuit under test while the scope monitors the response — all with one instrument.
2500 Waveforms, Always Ready
Store up to 2,500 captured waveforms with thumbnail browsing directly on the device. Intermittent fault? Capture it. Want to compare before and after a repair? Save both. Working remotely with no laptop? Everything stays on the device.
Standard vs. PRO
The only difference between versions is probes: Standard ships with one 100MHz probe (use your own second probe for dual-channel). PRO ships with two matched 100MHz probes — both channels ready to use out of the box. If you don’t already have probes, get the PRO.
